TTG decided to adopt the odd years rather than the even years for The Transformation Games, avoiding the Olympic Games and World Cup years. There are fewer global events held in the odd years, which compete for marketing and sponsorship budgets.
We look for dates that coincide with many University and School holidays. But also, to reflect that it is when buds of spring and new things grow and appear. This period also avoids crowds of summer tourists or the cold periods of winter.
The first Transformation Games will be held in Spring 2023 in a suitable host city (Amsterdam, London, Singapore or Abu Dhabi are examples), in March/April for 13 to 15 days of exhilarating competition and game-changing collaboration.
The Transformation Games will find a special place in history, gain in global respect and find it turbo-charges their domestic and national programmes of transformation and sustainability and the education and engagement of their own people and business sectors.
